High pressure liquid receiver is mainly used in air cooled heat pump unit. When unit works on heat pump mode, refrigerant gas have to discharge in time after condensation due to the small volume of condenser, otherwise, parts of heat transfer surface will be immersed in condensation liquid That will reduce heat transfer capacity and influence the steadiness and performance of heat pump unit. The liquid receiver tank is used to balance refrigerant amount during operation mode and different loading change.
